Preliminary results from the December 8 referendum in Liberia indicate that the “Yes” Vote” is in the lead.

The election featured eight propositions on the ballot including reducing the tenures of president, Senators and representatives.

The constitution states that each proposition must obtain 2/3 (two-third of the total before it can be adopted).
