On the thirtieth day of their continuous protests in front of the French military base in Niamey, civil society organizations backing the Nigerian military leadership orchestrated a significant demonstration on Sunday afternoon.
The event drew thousands of participants who initially assembled at “Place Toumo” and then embarked on a three-kilometer march to reach the Escadrille roundabout, which has been renamed “Place de la Résistance,” situated in close proximity to the French military base.
