It’s been nearly three weeks since Ivorian journalist Serge Adou, based in Niger, disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

Adou, a reporter for Canal 3 in Niamey, was last seen on September 1 after responding to a summons from the Nigerien judicial police. Since then, his whereabouts have remained unknown, leaving his family and friends in distress.

The Ivorian government addressed the issue during a recent press conference following a cabinet meeting, announcing its intention to formally engage with the Nigerien ambassador in Côte d’Ivoire.

Albain ADE reports from Abidjan, with Augustine Kollie providing the voiceover.
