Reactions have continued to trail, fueling debates on the recently published report by the Directorate General of External Security DGES in France operational expansion of a terrorist group.
DGES in a report Monday said that Al Qaeda terrorist group is currently planning an extension towards the Gulf of Guinea including Benin and Côte d'Ivoire.
The report suggests that threats of the terrorist group has been hanging over the Gulf of Guinea for several years.
Clarifying on the report, The Institute for Security Studies explained that although the information was just released, the organization has been following developments.
