The young international chamber (JCI) has said stakeholders’ investment in Senegal’s oil and gas industry is key to launching the country into economic development and acceleration.
This was disclosed during a networking forum on oil and gas they organized in Dakar – the Senegalese capital over the weekend.
The event which was under the theme “Oil and gas exploitation in Senegal, what about the legal framework?” brought together young people with the clear objective of provision of legal information about oil and gas exploitation in a more transparent, accessible, and factual manner to especially young ones.
As James Adjapong reports, the exploration of oil and gas in Senegal is scheduled for the end of 2023.
