INTERVIEW – THE GAMBIA: Immigration Service releases alleged 63 intending migrants arrested West Coast Regions

The Gambia Immigration Department (GID) has released the alleged 63 intending migrants who were recently arrested at Batakunku village in the West Coast Regions (WCR) of the Gambia.

The 63 intended migrants reportedly planned to embark on an irregular journey to the Canary Islands.

Among the released intended migrants include 44 Senegalese, Gambians and a Bissau Guinean.

The Public Relations Officer PRO of the Gambia Immigration Department Mamanding Dibba spoke to our Banjul correspondent Sankulleh Janko on the development

Mr. Dibba began explaining how his officers raided the area before arresting the said intended migrants.
