Over the following 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, stakeholders will be asking governments, institutions, and citizens to show how much they care about ending violence against women and girls under the theme “UNITE! Invest to prevent violence against women and girls”.
The 16 Days of Activism against Violence Against Women and Girls is an international civil society-led campaign that takes place every year.
It begins on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and ends on the 10th of December, Human Rights Day, indicating that violence against women is the most widespread human rights violation in the world.
