Labour Day has become an occasion for festivals and parades. In others, it is a day for picnics, barbecues and family gatherings. However, the spirit of the labour movement and the struggles of the working class are still at the heart of the holiday.

So, Liberia joins the rest of the world to celebrate Labour Day under the global theme Safety and Health at work.
