The United Nations Children’s Fund UNICEF Monday revealed that in addition to the number of out-of-school children, 31,000 teachers remain out of the classroom due to prevailing violence and insecurity in the country.
One in four schools, or 6,100 schools were approximately closed on day one of another school year in the jihadist-plagued nation.
