A socio-cultural organization, Igbo Indigenes without Borders, has appealed to Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Tinubu, to intervene in the case of former Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu.

Alongside his wife and a medical doctor, Ekweremadu has been convicted of attempting to harvest organs in London. During a news conference in Abuja, the group’s President, Dr. Bernard Oshi, made the plea.

Here’s Usman Umar in Abuja with the report.
