On Monday, the world marked International Day for the Elimination of Fistula under the theme "End fistula now, invest in quality care and empower communities".

In Niamey, the Minister of Public Health and Social Affairs, Dr. Idi Illiassou Mainassara called for the mobilization of resources for a fistula-free Niger.
