A week following the government’s dissolution, transitional president has announced the appointment of a new prime minister.

General Mamady Doumbouya designated Amadou Oury Bah for the position on Tuesday.

Speaking to the transitional president, the political leader pledges commitment to adhering to the directives of the CNRD in efforts to reorganize and facilitate a return to constitutional order.
