The trial of Oumar Sylla alias Foniké Mangué, Ibrahima Diallo, and Saikou Yaya Barry opened in Conakry on Thursday.

The coordinator and head of operations of the National Front For the Defence of The Constitution FNDC and the executive secretary of the UFR are on trial before the Dixinn court, which has been relocated to the Conakry Court of Appeal.

They are accused of participating in an unauthorized gathering, obstruction of freedom of movement, destruction of private and public buildings, and intentional assault and battery.

The first two individuals denied the charges against them and the third accused person failed to appear due to health reasons.
