Guinean security forces, have deployed to the town of Macenta to stall deadly clashes between people of the Lorma and Mandingo tribes.
Seven people have reportedly been killed and several others wounded as the two sides continue to mobilize against each other.
According to reports emanating from the region, the clashes started after people of the Mandingo ethnic group, prevented the Lormas from installing a new paramount chief for the town.
