Guinea political standstill slows down Sierra Leone’s economy

The standstill in Guinea caused by the recent rise in political tensions have put the economy of neighbouring countries like Sierra Leone many of whose business people largely depend on to buy goods.

The political stalemate, coupled with the closure of the land border by Sierra Leone following the Covid-19 outbreak is further worsening the situation.
