A consortium of local and international organisations condemns what it described as the new arbitrary detention of Oumar Sylla, a member of the National Front for the Defense of the Constitution (FNDC) and deputy coordinator of Tournons La Page.
He is accused of illegal assembly, disturbing public order, endangering state security and destroying public property.
The consortium calls his imprisonment one more illustration of the generalized repression against all dissenting voices in Guinea.
