The case against former Guinean Prime Minister Dr. Ibrahima Kassory Fofana continued in court on Wednesday, before the Court for the Repression of Economic and Financial Offenses (CRIEF) in Conakry.
Dr. Fofana, who served during the Alpha Condé regime, was absent due to health issues, according to his lawyers. However, Judge Lansana Soumah denied the request to transfer him to an American hospital in Paris.
The judge ordered the conclusion of debates, with requisitions and pleadings set to begin on January 20, 2025.
