Several human rights and press freedom organizations in Guinea have condemned the cutting off of mobile internet in the country and the jamming of certain media signals.
These organizations, including Amnesty International and Reporters Without Borders, are calling on the transitional authorities to respect fundamental rights and freedoms.
The union of free radio and television stations in Guinea is threatening to mobilize civil disobedience next week.
