Some districts of the capital Guinea’s capital, Conakry are still flooded after heavy rain over the weekend.
At least one person was confirmed killed and several others injured while around thirty households were affected by the flooding.
The security services, the Red Cross, and members of the government were mobilized to provide assistance.
According to Mory Condé, the Guinean Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation after being evacuated from the scene, many of the injured were taken to the regional hospital for medical care.
