Guinean authorities have arrested a leader of the civic movement known as the National Front for the Defense of the Constitution (FNDC).
Mamadou Billo Bah’s arrest announced over the weekend, comes five months after Oumar Sylla Foniké, the national coordinator and the head of operations
Ibrahima Diallo were seized by state authorities.
Bah had only ended a meeting with a group of people from the Tombolia district as part of citizens’ mobilization to demand an immediate return to constitutional order when he was arrested.
