On our Guest Segment for today, we will be speaking with Annalisa Pauciullo and Aïssata Ba, who are the Regional Coordinator and the Associate Media and Communications Officer respectively for the Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants Unit at the UNODC Regional Office for West and Central Africa
The two executives shared their opinion on how the organization is playing a key role in the prevention of the smuggling of migrants and trafficking in persons, especially for undocumented migrants and the vulnerable in society.
The UNODC as part of awareness creation is also calling on all young singers living in Senegal, Gambia, and Mali, until 20 May to apply to the singing competition under their PROMIS Project and SING FOR JUSTICE.
The singing project which is partly supported by the United Nations Human Rights Office aims to use this as a vocal tool to end Human Trafficking through the music
