Ahead of World Radio Day on February 13, experts are exploring the medium’s extensive reach and ability to bridge digital divides and engage diverse audiences on climate-related issues.
Climate change is one of the most pressing issues of recent times, prompting the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB), in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), to host the 2nd AUB Media Summit on Climate Action.
This two-day event, which will take place on February 13th and 14th, will be held in Dakar, the Senegalese capital, under the theme “Reaching the Last Mile: Radio for Climate Action.”
WADR, the official broadcast partner of AUB for the continental event, has been speaking to Onengiye Fynface, Head of the English Desk, at AUB.
