The World Health Organization has alarmed over the increasing number of new global Covid19 infections as it calls on governments to re-enforce measures to protect their populations.

The head of the agency, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreysus says the majority of new infections recorded in recent days are concentrated in Europe and the Americas.
