In Nigeria, tragedy struck on Sunday on the Okene bypass in Kogi, in North Central Nigeria, as a devastating accident claimed the lives of 20 people.
According to Nigeria’s Federal Road Safety Corps, the head-on collision involving a truck and a van was caused by a route violation by the truck, resulting in an inferno.
