A Political Marketing Strategist has downplayed the role the stance on activities of LGBTQ+ will play in Ghana’s Elections following the Vice President and Flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s recent declaration of his abhorrence for the practice.

The Vice President has been under intense pressure to make his position known amidst the refusal of President Nana Akufo-Addo to sign the Human, Sexual, and Family Values Bill into law, following two suits filed at the Supreme Court challenging the constitutionality of the bill.

From Accra, WADR’s Naa Dedei Tettey report.
