Ghana’s Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyabeng has declared some 6 individuals wanted for displaying money they allegedly received to vote for aspirants in the just-ended parliamentary primaries for the governing NPP in orphan constituencies.
The individuals were captured on live television flaunting white envelopes containing undisclosed amounts of cash, they had received from aspirants.
The development which is fast becoming a part of Ghana’s electoral process has got many analysts worried.
One such person is political Analyst Nii Amartei Amartey. In an interview with WADR, the political science lecturer condemned the role money played in the just-ended polls and called on the OSP to intervene.
