The Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin, has criticized President Akufo-Addo’s refusal to accept the transmission of the Human Sexual Rights and Family Values (Anti-LGBTQ+) Bill, which was unanimously passed by Parliament.
The speaker expressed concern over this deviation from democratic practices and emphasized the importance of cooperative governance and mutual respect among government branches.
