The Ghanaian Parliament has approved two loan agreements between the government and the World Bank for a total of $350 million.
$200 million will be used to finance the country’s Digital Acceleration Project, which aims to promote the adoption of digital technologies and expand access to digital infrastructure.
The remaining $150 million will be used to fund the second phase of the West Africa Food System Resilience Programme, which aims to improve food security and promote sustainable agricultural practices in the region.
