Ghana’s Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang-Manu, has assured the nation that some essential childhood vaccines will be available in a few weeks.
Addressing the Press on Tuesday, Agyemang Manu failed to give the exact time the vaccines will arrive in the country but said the shortage is only temporary.
Over 500 cases of measles according to the Paediatric Society of Ghana, have so far been recorded in the country due to the unavailability of essential vaccines.
