The minority in Ghana's parliament has accused the government of deliberately withholding funds from the legislature to stop the house from exercising its oversight responsibilities.
It follows revelations by the speaker Alban Bagbin that the work of most committees are being hampered due to the unavailability of funds, an action Mr Bagbin adds, has constrained the legislature in delivering on most important constitutional matters.
