Ghana’s Election taskforce warns parties against threatening peace ahead of December 7 polls

As the voter register exhibition exercise and the December 7 polls approach, the Elections Security Taskforce, led by the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has issued a stern warning to political parties. The taskforce cautioned against any actions that could jeopardize the country’s peace during this critical period.

Dr. Dampare emphasized that any attempts to disrupt the nation’s stability will not be tolerated. The taskforce is committed to ensuring a peaceful and orderly election process, with security forces prepared to respond to any threats.
