The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC), Jean Mensa, has announced that the final voters register for the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections will be ready in the first week of November 2024.

Jean Mensa made this announcement at the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting on Tuesday.

Her announcement comes as the commission begins an online re-exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register for the election.

In a press statement, the commission indicated that the online re-exhibition would last for five days, ending on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

The EC has also urged the public to report all issues they find in the register to its district offices where they registered, for the appropriate measures to be taken.

Ghana goes to the polls on December 7, 2024, to elect a new president and a new set of 275 Members of Parliament.
