The Ghana Contingent of the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS in the Gambia has joined in celebrating their country’s 66th Independence.
Barra in northern Gambia was the celebration venue by troops characterized by the exhibition and display of Ghanaian culture, food, and dance.
The occasion brought together soldiers and men of the contingent, other ECOWAS troops, community members, and the head of the ECOWAS Mission in the Gambia.
Our Banjul correspondent Sankulleh Janko attended the event in Barra reports.
