Onion traders in Ghana may have to start bringing what is left of the produce through Nigeria rather than waiting on Benin and Burkina Faso to open their borders.

This is because Benin and Burkina Faso have closed their land borders over the coup in Niger.

The trader association is appealing for government intervention.
