In Ghana, the Upper East Regional Minister has revealed that the regional Security Council is working with their counterparts in Burkina Faso in intelligence sharing.
This according to the minister is part of measures to prevent extremists from entering the country’s Northern borders.
They are growing concerns over insurgents entering Ghana through it’s northern border with as refugees continue fleeing the insurgency in Burkina Faso for Ghana.
As WADR’s Atiewin Mbillah-Lawson in Accra reports, over 4,000 refugees have reportedly crossed the borders.
