The Ghanaian government has approved the establishment of a neutral shared infrastructure company to deliver nationwide 4G and 5G services to about 80% of the Ghanaian population.
Ghana’s Ghana’s Minister of Communication and Digitalization, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, made the announcement yesterday, August 23, during a forum hosted by MainOne.
Currently, only 50% of internet users in Ghana have access to a 4G network.
