Ghana is set to receive a substantial investment from the US government aimed at bolstering its health infrastructure.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has allocated $2 million for the establishment of a cold room dedicated to vaccine storage and a national resource center for managing the vaccine cold chain in Korle Bu.

During a visit on Tuesday, Grace Lang, USAID/Ghana Deputy Mission Director, joined Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, the Director General of the Ghana Health Service, to oversee the progress of the construction works.
