The Ghana Union of Traders is calling on the government to eliminate what they deem as nuisance taxes, including the COVID-19 levy and taxes on raw materials.
This appeal comes as Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta is set to present the 2024 budget statement and economic policy.
The budget is expected to address the economy’s performance, fiscal measures, and debt management strategies aimed at enhancing stability and fostering growth.
