Survivors and families of the victims of about 44 Ghanaians, who were massacred in The Gambia in July 2005, have accused the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Committee in the Gambia of not prioritizing justice for the victims.
Speaking during a news conference in Ghana’s Ashanti region Tuesday, spokesperson of the survivors and families said efforts to have their testimonies heard during the TRRC sittings have proven futile despite the resumption of sittings.
