Ghana’s apex court, the supreme court has thrown out an injunction against the anti-LGBTQI+ bill in Ghana.

A nine-member Supreme Court panel dismissed the request that was seeking to halt Parliament’s consideration of the anti-gay bill.

In August 2021, a private members bill was introduced in parliament to criminalize same-sex and curb the advocacy of LGBTQ rights.
