Ghanaian MP Sam George has sharply criticized President Akufo-Addo’s final State of the Nation Address, calling it “misleading” and incomplete.
The lawmaker, known for sponsoring the Anti-Gay Bill, accused the outgoing president of avoiding pressing issues like inflation, high exchange rates, unemployment, and Ghana’s rising debt profile.
Speaking to journalists after the address, Sam George emphasized the economic hardships faced by Ghanaians, attributing them to policies of Akufo-Addo’s administration. He urged for an honest assessment of the country’s challenges as the new administration prepares to take office.
