The Majority leader in Ghana’s parliament Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has led in shooting down reform proposals from the Electoral Commission for the 2024 elections as the house accuses the Chairperson of the Commission, Jean Mensah of breaching its regulations by doing away with the indelible ink.
Chairperson of the Commission Jean Mensah has announced several reforms including closing polls at 3 pm and doing away with the indelible ink.
WADR’s Naa Dedei Tettey in Accra reports that the majority leader suggests the proposals if agreed to will spell doom for the 2024 polls.
