The demonstrators of the Occupy Bank of Ghana protest have vowed to hit the streets again after the governor failed to meet them and accept their petition at the bank premises on Tuesday.

The Minority Caucus in Parliament along with some civil society organizations, pressure groups and opposition political parties, marched to the Bank to demand the resignation of the Governor and his deputies after the institution’s record loss of over 5 billion US Dollars in the 2022 fiscal year.

As WADR’s Atiewin Mbillah-Lawson reports, the bank’s leadership has been criticized for the use of over 250 million dollars for the construction of a new headquarters for the apex bank.
