President John Mahama has unveiled his initial set of ministerial nominations, selecting key individuals to lead the ministries of Energy, Finance, and Attorney General and Justice.
The nominees are:
- Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson for Finance
- John Jinapor for Energy
- Dominic Ayine for Attorney General and Minister of Justice
These appointments will undergo scrutiny by the Appointments Committee of Ghana’s Parliament.
Dr. Forson’s nomination also creates a vacancy in the Majority Party’s leadership in Parliament, as he currently serves as the Caucus leader.
