The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has strongly urged the police to promptly apprehend and bring to justice the perpetrators behind the recent assault on a local journalist Akosua Otchere.

In a statement signed by the General Secretary of the GJA, Kofi Yeboah, the association vehemently condemned the attack on Ms. Otchere while she was carrying out her professional duties.

The GJA also called upon both state and non-state entities, as well as the international community, to denounce this reprehensible incident.
