Ghana and Israel have launched a business forum to strengthen trade relations between the two countries.
This is the maiden edition of the forum which seeks to strengthen the agricultural sector of both countries by leveraging modern technology.
Climate change which has shortened cropping seasons, disrupted growing season calendars, increased dry spells, droughts, etc, continues to pose significant threats to food security in the West African sub-region.
Israel, with similar arid and semi-arid climates, has become a leader in developing agrotech solutions to farming in such environments making it food secure and racking in millions of dollars in food exports.
