Ghana’s Independent Power Producers (IPPs) have issued a notice, stating their inability to ensure consistent power generation due to the government’s failure to settle a 2.3 billion dollars debt owed to them for energy supplied to the Electricity Company of Ghana, ECG.
The IPPs in July this year called off a threatened shutdown after an interim deal with the government.
