The Ghanaian government has repatriated over Two thousand, two hundred of its citizens living in Lebanon and other Arab countries.
The returnees, mostly women say they suffered sexual abuse, physical assaults, and confiscation of passports by their employers in a bid to prevent them from returning to Ghana.
Despite the efforts made by the government of Ghana to bring these victims home, reports indicate others in Ghana are planning on embarking on a journey to foreign countries in search of a better life.
