Special voting has started in all 16 regions in Ghana with security officers, ambulance service staff, journalists and other professionals allowed to vote ahead of Election Day on December 7. 

Chairperson of the electoral commission Jean Mensah who addressed the press on Monday said she is hopeful that by the end of the special voting exercise which will take place at selected locations nationwide, her outfit can brief the public on the outcome during the midweek.
