Ahead of the December 7 general elections in Ghana, the government has assured of maximum protection of lives and property of citizens before, during and after the elections.
Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey made this declaration particularly highlighting the safety of Ghanaians against vigilante activities.
Mrs. Botchwey in a meeting with ECOWAS observers during the weekend, said President Nana Akufo-Addo has promised to punish any individual that intends to cause havoc in the upcoming 2020 polls.
She stated that the Head of State has also vowed to deal with his own party members (NPP) should they try to disrupt the country’s peace on December 7.
